It was released onto their album by the way in 2002, it was the bands 3rd single off this album following by the way and zephyr song, cant stop was the Red Hot Chili Peppers eighth number 1 on billboard modern rock tracks, it spent 3 weeks topping the chart and peaked at 57 on the billboard top 100. The song also done well in other stations around the world.
Cant stop has been preformed over 500 times since 2002, the bands most performed song, and has mostly been used as their opening song.
The target audience for this music video would be of course fans of the band but then also maybe the band are trying to reach out to new fans so a secondary target audience could be teenagers and young people who are constantly exploring and discovering new music, or just to reach out to fans of their genre of music however the Chili peppers are a mixture of alot of different genres and is why they have such a huge following they appeal to rock fans, alternative rock, funk rock, rap rock, and even some metal fans are drawn to the band this really does show how diverse the band are and how creative the band are, this video also isn't really aimed at a specific gender race or sexuality etc. its simply just a weird video.
This video has a few close up shots but no extreme close ups, the opening of the video is the best example of a close up shot.

The song itself stands out on the album because it sounds like the early Chili Peppers songs, funk, whereas the whole album sounds like a real rock album. 
The music video was directed by Mark Romanek, the video is pretty ,much just all 4 members of the band doing random weird things throughout, the image above is just 3 John Fruciante's in a wheely bin singing other parts of the video include all of the band trying to balance buckets on their heads. The video begins with the camera zooming in through a yellow tube, at the end of the tube is Anthony Kiedis in glasses singing the lyrics of the song. The inspiration for the video was an Austrian artist called Erwin Wurm a particular piece by the artist was the main influence and that was his one minute sculptures hence why the band are preforming random scenes with no meaning or purpose, thats sort of their style in general they're just weird.I chose this video because it is one of my favourite songs of all time and it is probably my most listened to song it is also by my favourite band of all time, I chose the video because its just straight up weird and random just like the Chili Peppers.

(it doesn't let me take screenshots on my laptop so I have watched the video repeatedly so I know what images to put and what order to put them in) The video begins with the camera continuously zooming down a long yellow tube until eventually it reaches Anthony Kiedis' face it then stops and he begins to sing. The next scene in the video cuts to all 4 members of the band jogging through a hallway all with huge L.E.D lights on their backs like backpacks. It then goes back to Kiedis singing again. The next scene is the band being slightly normal doing what they'd usually be doing whilst performing with a big orange screen behind them, it pretty much goes back and fourth between those three scenes I've mentioned with a few little random scenes in too, I have also included these random moments in my storyboard.

• Look at your structure and layout of the posts, you want to entice people to read it and engage the audience .
• Your use of english needs developing as it is basic at the moment so please reread your comments and you will understand - change and make sure it flows.
• I have listed all of the areas you need to discuss on teh master blog - please refer to that - mis en scene, lighting, screen shots, cost, context etc.
• You talk about random scenes but you do not show enough stills, therefore place 6 screenshots next to each other or 3 x 3 so the audience can see instantly.
• Structure is very much a part of your work too.
I will check again later to see how it is developing - I will look at your other posts now too.
